Non-payment of fees

We request that parents ensure that their account is settled promptly. Payment for sessions must be made even if your child cannot attend for any reason, i.e. sickness, holiday.

It is settings policy to pursue all unpaid fees and other thefts through the County Court for recovery of the service’s money. We are a not-for-profit Charity and any income from fees pays towards the running costs of the Pre School or is invested in updating our facilities.

If you are having difficulty paying your fees please speak to the Treasurer / Chair person and a payment plan can be arranged.  If no payment plan has been agreed and payment is not made within 2 weeks a reminder will be sent. If fees remain unpaid a Final Reminder letter will be sent. If payment is not received within 5 working days of the Final Reminder the child will no longer be able to attend Pre-School sessions above their funded hours and the Pre-School will immediately begin County Court proceedings. If County Court proceedings are commenced, to recover the unpaid debt, an admin fee of £50 and all court fees are charged to the debtor. If the setting is required to attend County Court a charge will be applied at a rate of £20.00 per hour.

Should fees remain unpaid no sibling within the same family will be able to attend Pre School on a fee paying basis in future until such time as the fees are paid in full.
